My name is Michael Conklin, I'm 25 years old and I currently live in Wisconsin but was raised in New York. I graduated from Smithtown West High School in New York with a regent’s diploma. I also graduated from Wilson Tech Dix Hills Campus with honors and a technical endorsement. My interest in graphic design started at a young age, I have always been drawn to advertisements and game design. In 2010 I attended Surf Tech, Wilson Tech's summer program in design, from then on, I knew I wanted a career in graphic design. I have a passion for this industry and my mission is to design the most creative logos anyone has ever seen. A long with my interest in graphic design.

 

I am also pursuing photography. I am currently enrolled in the photography program at NWTC and am currently going for a technical diploma and look too potentially go further in my education down the road. Growing up my uncle was big into photography and still is to this day and also has his own side gig taking pictures of landscape and wildlife. Growing up with him got me interested in photography at a young age and I always found myself taking pictures every place I went too, but up until recently all those pictures were on my phone. When I started using a DSLR I haven't gone back to taking pictures on my phone. I found that my passion in graphic design works well in this field because of all the post-production work that goes into the images. I find that these fields work very well together, and my passion is to use these skills together to create amazing works of art. I thrive to capture more than just photos; I capture experiences and photos that take you to a place unlike any other. It is my goal to deliver to you the brightest and most beautiful version of the world we live in.
